The simple and elegant design is located in the sub-urban context of Diulapitiya surrounded by greenery. The design entails the client’s brief which is summoned up to a single-story house without making a loud statement and blending with the context.
The main requirement given forth by the client is to have a calm and earthy abode to wind down and relax after the daily hectic work schedule. The key feature of the design is the large open spaces that create a permanent indoor/outdoor link from any part of the house, which enables the dweller soothing vistas to the surrounding landscape.
The color palette carefully selected adds to the earthy ambience of the entire scheme which creates a calming mood altogether with the handpicked interior décor.
